Just over a year ago, we had the dream of creating a new food magazine grounded here in Vancouver, with eyes on the larger world of food. Bread & Butter Issue One was met with such overwhelming response that made us eager to see what the future held.
We rolled up our sleeves, planning for an even bigger and better issue two. Sites were set on nationwide distribution and an international lens. We began securing incredible features from across Canada and ready to take Bread & Butter into a larger scale print publication.
And then, as it does at interesting intervals, life happened. A couple of us had huge, life altering events occur early in the year that challenged our focus on the magazine. Getting the print circulation to a meaningful level seemed a bit more overwhelming.
So we have decided to transition Bread & Butter to a blog format for 2015, to allow us to bring you the wonderful content we have planned while allowing us time to focus on other things that need our attention. Rest assured, B&B is not going anywhere…it’s merely staying digital for a while longer.
We have so many wonderful things in store for you this year…we hope you will continue to join us here on the blog and we look forward to an exciting year ahead.
